Hopefully Google didn't lie to me when it said Namaste means hello in Hindi. Anyways, hello all! This intro blog is a tad bit late but better now than after we meet?
I'm from Alexandria, Minnesota. I just graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN with a Social Work major and Psychology minor. I have 2 parents and four sisters. Yes, my dad is one lucky man :). I love... God, my family and friends, being on the water (such as lakes, rivers, oceans), thunderstorms, rain (bring on the monsoons), stars, coffee, tea, energy drinks and candy (in moderation of course), food, purses, getting to know new people, running, reading, writing, music, photography and much more.
I've been waiting for quite a while now to be used by God in India, and I'm so unbelievably thrilled the time has come. God is going to open ours eyes and hearts to things I can't even imagine right now. I'm just so blessed I get to see what God is and will be doing in India, and feel honored that God would bring me there to meet the people we'll be meeting and to be a part of his big plans :) Of course it will be challenging being submerged in a new place, new people, and a new culture but I'm confident the Lord will give all of us his direction, peace, joy, and strength through it. Each of us have strategically been called by him to come together to go on this trip to Bangalore and it will be so fun to experience the plans unravel for the greater good of Him and man.
In Him,
Lindsay Snyder
