In order to travel to India, you must apply for and receive
an additional document inside your passport called a Visa. Below are the
instructions for applying for your visa.

1) If you live in DC, San Francisco, Chicago, Houston, or New York, you may go
in person to Travisa. Find a location by visiting https://indiavisa.travisaoutsourcing.com/homepage.

2) If you live anywhere else, go to
https://indiavisa.travisaoutsourcing.com/homepage and click on Get an Indian
Visa, then Start a New Application, and then Apply by Mail. After the
application has been completed, you must print and sign the application and
mail it in or take it to an Indian Consulate in your area.
